Mosiah 2:41
And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.
When I read this verse I thought if it as kind of a philosophy. When something is hard, think of the good that will come out of it. Think of when it will all be over and the joy you will achieve. This will come as long as you keep the commandments of God. I love how it says, “and if they hold out faithful to the end” because no matter what, every single person is going to go through temptation, trails, and hardships. It’s inevitable. But what will define us is how we react to the adversary’s attempts to weaken us. If we hold fast to the iron rod and endure to the end, we will be “received into heanven.” That’s my goal! To not allow anything or anyone get in my way of returning to my heavenly Father and living with him again.
